Steve Hernandez, DDS

Dr. Steve Hernandez is a native of the Hill Country and received a Bachelor of Science from Baylor University. He attended Baylor College of Dentistry in Dallas where he received his Doctor of Dental Surgery. Striving to connect his passion for dentistry with his interest in children's health, Dr. Hernandez completed a two-year residency in pediatric dentistry which qualifies him to care for adolescent patients. 

Dr. Steve is on the board of directors of the Highland Lakes Health Partnership, where he serves on the board overseeing the formation of a charity dental clinic to serve the Highland Lakes area. In 2009, he received the Outstanding Citizen Award from the Marble Falls/Highland Lakes Chamber of Commerce for his contributions and services to the community.

Ryan Pendleton, DDS

Dr. Ryan Pendleton completed his Bachelor’s degree in Sports Medicine with high honors at Pepperdine University in Malibu, California. He then went on to the UCLA School of Dentistry to earn his Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree, graduating in 2004. He immediately entered a residency program to earn his certificate in Advanced Orthodontics from the University of Pittsburgh School of Dental Medicine, which took an additional three years.Dr. Pendleton greatly enjoys the entire process of creating confident smiles, especially getting to know each patient and their families over the course of treatment.

Stephanie Trahan, DMD

Dr. Stephanie Trahan is originally from Vermont and graduated from Syracuse University and Boston University School of Dental Medicine Magna Cum Laude with a full scholarship from the United States Air Force; she also served as class president all 4 years. After 5 years in the military and earning recognition as Major in the USAF, Dr. Trahan had completed her active duty service commitment and went on to complete extensive work with pediatrics and patients with special needs in the private sector.

Dr. Trahan moved to Austin, TX from Charleston, SC where she was a Clinical Instructor at the Medical University of South Carolina Dental School post-graduate advanced general dentistry training program. Dr. Trahan has taught many continuing education courses on surgical techniques and has won several awards for her presentations.

Dr. Trahan spends much of her spare time coaching Special Olympics sailing and was named the GA state coach of the year in 2015. Dr. Trahan is also an active member of the volunteer group Dentistry for All and frequently travels to Guatemala to perform dentistry in disadvantaged communities. She has been recognized by the American Dental Association for her meritorious service to the people of Guatemala and is also a student mentor for Boston University’s international externship program.
